Ms. Witness Shedrack Shoo stands as esteemed alumna of Mzumbe University, possessing an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration from the Institute of Development Management Mzumbe (Mzumbe University-Main Campus) in Morogoro in 1997. She further augmented her educational prowess with a Master's of Science in Community Economic Development (CED) from Southern New Hampshire University in 2005, and another Master of Science in Human Resources Management in 2011 at Mzumbe University (Dar es Salaam Campus College).

With a remarkable professional journey spanning 25 years, Ms. Shoo's expertise primarily resides in the domains of human resource management and administration, with 14 years at the helm of directorial positions and an additional 4 years as a Senior Assistant Commissioner. Her career commenced at OXFAM GB-Arusha, where she was enlisted as an Admin and HR Officer in October 1997. Subsequently, after her involvement in the project concluded, she was recruited by CARE International in Tanzania as an Admin & HR Officer in February 2001. Ms. Shoo's trajectory took a significant leap when she joined the United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) in October 2003 as an HR Officer, ascending to the role of Senior HR Officer. During her tenure at UNWFP, she showcased a commendable capacity to manage HR functions in a diverse and multicultural environment comprising both national and international staff.

In September 2009, Ms. Shoo's achievement was securing the role of Assistant Director of Human Resources and Administration at the Millennium Challenge Account - Tanzania (MCA-T), responsible for a five-year US-funded infrastructure project. She established robust HR systems, managing recruitment, payroll, staff welfare, and policies. Transitioning to Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) in October 2012 as Director of HR & Administration, she became the first female director in TANAPA's history. Managing 22 National Parks and 3,000 employees, she excelled in enforcing HR policies, establishing systems, overseeing performance, recruitment, training, budgeting, and logistics. Witness Shedrack Shoo's remarkable journey in Human Resource Management showcases her expertise, inspiring fellow HR professionals, particularly women, to strive for excellence. Her career trajectory underscores the importance of professionalism and competition in achieving higher positions. Moreover, her fusion of knowledge and experience has driven her into successful entrepreneurship, running Uniform Point Co.
